With his hit show "American Horror Story" set to premiere it's second season on October 17th, Zachary Quinto nabbed a little added exposure by covering the October 2012 issue of Out magazine.

The 35-year-old actor looked stunning in the black and white Michael Muller shot front page while dishing about everything from losing his dad to cancer to coming out.

Joining in on the red carpet festivities, Zachary Quinto turned up for the 84th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 26).

Held at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center, the "Star Trek" actor looked dapper in spectacles, a bow tie and black suit while gearing up for the swanky ceremony.

Spending the day at the purple carpet celebration, Zachary Quinto was among those partaking in the 2012 Film Independent's Spirit Awards on Saturday afternoon (February 25).

The former "Heroes" star took to the Santa Monica beachfront venue while hobnobbing with fellow stars ahead of the annual cinema showcase.
