Charlie Sheen’s “Men” Replacement: Not Rob Lowe

There has been plenty of speculation regarding who could replace Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men” and though Rob Lowe is a great pick, he won’t be taking the gig.

According to Gossip Cop, the “West Wing” stud is locked in to a contract with “Parks & Recreation,” and won’t be able to do “Men.”

Charlie Sheen Apologizes to Jon Cryer, Backs Rob Lowe

Seemingly deciding that his comments the previous day were a bit harsh, Charlie Sheen took to the airwaves on Wednesday (March 9) to offer up an apology.

The troubled actor chatted with Los Angeles radio station K-Earth 101, during which time he said that calling former "Two and a Half Men" co-star Jon Cryer a troll was out of line.

Seemingly not having a care in the world, the 45-year-old actor puffed a cigarette and wrapped his arm around his lady while visiting a local office building for a business meeting.

He’s everywhere you look these days, and Charlie Sheen is convinced he will be back on “Two and Half Men” very soon.

The “Hot Shots” actor told, "Absolutely the gig's coming back, and I have absolute faith in that. Not hope, because hope is for suckers," Sheen said on Philadelphia-based Wired 96.5's Chio and Shila in the Morning Show.

"Two and a Half Men" Ends Production, Charlie Responds

With the show's main star Charlie Sheen continuing to cause problem after problem, production on "Two and a Half Men" has officially been shut down.

Announcing the news, Warner Bros. Television and CBS released a statement reading: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season."
