"Tron: Legacy" Dominates the Weekend Box Office

With a slate of new movies hitting theaters just in time for the holiday season, "Tron: Legacy" pulled away from the pack to kickstart the weekend of December 17-19th.

The Disney flick starring Jeff Bridges and Olivia Wilde posted an impressive $18 million take on opening night - with estimates expecting a weekend total of $47 million.

Coming in a distant second is the animated Dan Akroyd/Justin Timberlake family film "Yogi bear 3D," which earned $4.7 million on Friday on pace to a $17 million total.

Rounding out the top five were Mark Wahlberg's boxing film "The Fighter" ($11.8 million expected), "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" ($12.8 million expected) and "How Do You Know" ($8.7 million expected).
