According to an official press release by Chief Deputy District Attorney Ron Bloxham, "The Clark County District Attorney's Office will not pursue a battery charge. It should be noted that Tommy Lee has requested that there be no prosecution relating to the incident and there were no injuries to either person."
As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Kid Rock was charged with battery after punching fellow musician Tommy Lee at the MTV Video Music Awards. And now the So Hott crooner is giving his side of the story.
According to press, Rock says the air between himself and Tommy was already polluted. "Last contact I had with him was when me and Pam were going through our divorce. He picked up her Blackberry and started e-mailing me a lot of horrendous things. It was extremely disrespectful."

Lee made a public apology to Alicia Keys and MTV. He said, “... I would like to apologize to Alicia and... MTV for the disrespectful bulls**t caused by a piece of s**t called Kid Pebble!"
