Rushing to the aid of her fellow Scientologist, Kirstie Alley has come out against the controversial Vanity Fair cover story regarding Tom Cruise.

In the October issue of the magazine, it was alleged that wife auditions were held for the 'Mission Impossible' star, in which Scientologist females were vetted to ensure a good fit for the actor.

After reports that Scientology officials auditioned women for him to marry, Tom Cruise has called the allegations "lies."

A representative for the newly divorced actor says, "'Lies in a different font are still lies - designed to sell magazines.'

While Suri is at home in the States enjoying a new furry friend, Tom Cruise is across the globe in Croatia, looking tired and saddened as he shares a drink with friends.

The "Mission Impossible" star wore a dark t-shirt as he sipped from a wine glass in a bar in Hvar, Croatia. Later, he takes a late night boat ride with his pals.
