Tom Cruise & Suri Dodge Big Apple Paparazzi
Celebrities are always coming up with creative ways to avoid the media, and earlier today (July 18) Tom Cruise evaded all but a few sly shutterbugs in New York City.
The “Minority Report” actor snuck his daughter Suri out of the Greenwich Hotel via the side door after setting up barricades in the front of the building where the vast majority of the paparazzi set up camp.
Papa Cruise whisked Suri into a chauffeured car that took them to a private helicopter where they quickly boarded and took off.
As for why it took Tom so long to visit his daughter after the divorce had been announced, an insider told press he had to finish his duties on the set of “Oblivion.”
"He's wanted to see her as fast as possible since this started, but he couldn't shut down production, cost people their jobs. People count on him."
Cruise also had his adorable little girl in mind when he knocked out the divorce agreement as fast as possible. "Tom tried his best to do what's right for Suri.”
