Tina Fey Talks Possible “Mean Girls” Musical
She’s gearing up for the end of her hit show “30 Rock,” and Tina Fey is already thinking about what’s next for her impressive showbiz career.
The “Baby Mama” actress is eyeing a musical version of her hit flick “Mean Girls,” and she’s been working with her musician husband to make it happen.
Tina declared, “I’m trying to develop it with my husband, who does all the music for ’30 Rock’ and I think Paramount is on board.”
Fey also noted that she’d love to see pop music superstar Mariah Carey cast as Regina George, who was played by Amy Poehler in the 2004 movie. “Mariah seemed to really know all the characters.”
