Teresa and Joe Giudice Indicted for Two MORE Counts of Federal Fraud
Adding insult to injury, a federal grand jury added two more counts to Teresa and Joe Giudice's 39 counts of fraud on Monday (November 18).
Tacking one count of bank fraud and one of loan application fraud onto the list, the new claims originate from a $361,250 mortgage that Teresa acquired in July 2005.
According to prosecutors, the "Real Housewife of New Jersey" falsely listed her earnings as $15,000 from work as a realtor.
Responding to the new allegations, an attorney for the 41-year-old mother-of-four stated, "As she did with respect to the allegations contained in the original Indictment, Teresa intends to plead 'not guilty' to the allegations in the new Indictment. She looks forward to defending herself at the trial, scheduled for February 24, 2014. Beyond that, we will answer all of the charges in court, not out."
