Taylor Swift: Nashville Songwriters Association’s Songwriter of the Year… Again!
There isn’t much that she hasn’t already accomplished in her impressive career, but Taylor Swift is still a gracious pop star every time she gets a trophy.
Last night (October 13) the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” songstress was honored by The Nashville Songwriters Association International and given her sixth Songwriter/Artist of the Year award.
Over the weekend, Taylor attended the grand opening of the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
Having donated a whopping $4 million to the project, Taylor has a vested interest in making sure her country music legacy lives on.
She told press, "We've been talking about different programs I can be involved in. I hate to call it a lecture because that sounds like I'm yelling at people, but we could do a Q&A talking to students here and a songwriters discussion would be really fun to have at some point."
