It was a shocking announcement when she was named as runner-up on the “Britain’s Got Talent” show over the weekend, and now Susan Boyle has checked herself into a private clinic in London, England.

According to a rep, "Police were called to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. The woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance."

Ever since her breakthrough performance on “Britain’s Got Talent” Susan Boyle has become an instant superstar. And this morning (April 22) she was spotted coming home from running errands in Blackburn, Scotland.

With all the talk of a makeover, it’s a bit refreshing that Susan Boyle is sticking to her guns and is perfectly happy with who she is.

The 48-year-old singer was recently discovered on the reality TV show “Britain’s Got Talent,” where she sang the song “I Dreamed a Dream” and since then has racked up over 20 million views of her performance on YouTube.
