Box Office: "Star Trek Into Darkness" Soars to the Top Spot

Cashing in on its highly-anticipated status, "Star Trek Into Darkness" grabbed the top spot at the box office for the weekend of May 17-19, 2013.

The J.J. Abrams sci-fi film garnered an impressive $22 million Friday in its freshman debut, and finished out the weekend with a total of $71 million.

Zachary Quinto Takes Spock to DC

His new film is already getting a lot of positive buzz, and on Wednesday (May 15) Zachary Quinto was on hand for a special screening of “Star Trek Into Darkness” in Washington, D.C.

The man who plays Spock looked handsome on the arrivals carpet in jeans and a dark red button-down as he chatted with the press before heading inside the MPAA for the film.

Tom Cruise Hits Up “Star Trek Into Darkness” Shindig

He’s never one to miss out on a good time, and last night (May 14) Tom Cruise showed up at the after party for the “Star Trek Into Darkness” premiere in Hollywood.

The “Minority Report” hunk looked to be in good spirits as he arrived at the soiree following the big screening at the Dolby Theatre earlier in the evening.

Riding the wave of excitement for the upcoming "Star Trek" sequel, Audi released a TV spot featuring the two Spocks, Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto.

Beginning with the two playing chess on their tablets, the pair of half-Vulcans next race to the golf course, with Leonard in his Mercedes and Zach in an Audi S7.
