Holding her son David by the hand, Jennifer Hudson arrived on the set of "Smash" in New York City today (August 22).

The "Dreamgirls" star started out wearing a tight, hot pink dress with black and white flats before emerging from a wardrobe change in a sequined black dress and bright pink loafers.

Putting in another day's work, Jennifer Hudson and Katharine McPhee headed over to the United Palace Theater where they filmed scenes for "Smash" in Uptown Manhattan on Tuesday (August 21).

While Miss McPhee made no attempt to hide her sexy black romper costume, her "Sparkle" co-star covered up in a robe as she made her way out of the dressing room trailer.

Getting to work on her newest project, Jennifer Hudson was spotted on the set of "Smash" in New York City on Monday (August 20).

The Grammy award-winning songstress donned a lengthy, purple top matched with black leggings before later slipping into a comfortable cardigan while showing her son, David Otunga Jr., around the location.

Sean Hayes Joins Season Two of "Smash"

Reuniting with his "Will & Grace" co-star Debra Messing, Sean Hayes will join her series "Smash" for several guest appearances.

The "Three Stooges" actor will play Terrence Falls, a comedy star who is making his Broadway debut in the musical "Liaisons," based on the novel "Les Liaisons Dangereuses," according to NBC. Reportedly, his character will be a major thorn in the side of other characters.

It's business as usual for Katharine McPhee, who was spotted on the set of her hit TV Show "Smash" earlier this week.

The former "American Idol" contestant ran through lines with another cast mate and got her make-up touched up while wearing a blue denim shirt, black pants, and black open-toed heels.

Jennifer Hudson is Next Guest Star on "Smash"!

NBC’s hit show “Smash” is gaining even more star-power as the network announced that it is featuring Jennifer Hudson in a guest appearance on its second season.

The “Dreamgirls” star will play Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star whose arrival will impact the lives of the show's dueling Marilyns, Karen and Ivy, played by Katherine McPhee and Megan Hilty, respectively.

NBC Unveils Fall 2012-2013 Lineup

Upfronts are officially kicking off tomorrow, but NBC has already switched a few things up as they revealed their fall schedule on Sunday (May 13).

So just what kind of changes can fans expect to see? Well, fan favorite "The Voice" is getting it's shot at staying on air this fall and even next spring while another network returnee, "Community," will now be showing Friday nights at 8:30 pm following the sexy comedy, "Whitney."
