MTV Announces 2013 Movie Award Nominees

Gearing up for next month's ceremony, MTV announced the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday (March 5).

Awards host Rebel Wilson and MTV News' Josh Horowitz started off the nomination spectacular by announcing the most coveted Golden Popcorn award for Movie of the Year.

Robert DeNiro: Choked Up on “Katie”

It has been the runaway hit of the year, and “Silver Linings Playbook” stars Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper paid a visit to “Katie” to talk about the subject of bipolar disorder.

Joined by director David O Russell, the Hollywood hunks both got emotional during the interview, with DeNiro having to pause to compose himself at one point.

The Nicholas Hoult fronted zombie thriller raked in $5.9 million on Friday and ended its debut weekend with a $18 million total.

Paramount's Jeremy Renner fronted action fantasy movie debuted with $5.9 million in earnings for Friday, with overall weekend earnings of $18 million.

Taking care of some overseas promotions, Bradley Cooper attended the “Silver Linings Playbook” stage greeting in Tokyo, Japan today (January 24).

The “Wedding Crashers” hunk looked handsome in a snazzy suit while working the crowd at Roppongi Hills Cinema ahead of his flick’s February 22nd release date.
