Last night Gerard Pique tweeted that his girlfriend Shakira gave birth to their baby boy, but it turns out the whole thing was nothing more than a well-played goof.
The Barcelona FC soccer stud tweeted, “Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks to all for your messages,” to his almost-five million followers.
Looks like she’ll be spending some serious cash on her legal team- Shakira was recently served with a $100 million lawsuit courtesy of her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua.
According to the paperwork, Antonio is entitled to a portion of the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer’s earnings given his oral agreement with her during a profitable time in her career.
Pregnancy undoubtedly affects everyone differently and it appears that it’s vastly improving Shakira's life.
The 35-year-old singer recently shared a bump-baring photo of her with boyfriend Gerard Piqué adding the caption, “I could have another 9 months like this!”

The 35-year-old songstress rocked skin-tight black leggings and a figure-hugging embellished top while belting out her hits at the closing ceremony of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
