Seth Meyers Not Leaving "SNL" Just Yet
He was just announced as the new host of "Late Night," but Seth Meyers dished that he isn't quite ready to give up his "Saturday Night Live" gig.
On Thursday (May 16), the 39-year-old funny man made an appearance on the "Today" show where he told host Matt Lauer he's going to be pulling double duty for awhile.
"I know it’s crazy,” Seth said about staying on SNL. “I just am nowhere near emotionally ready for Saturday to be my last show.”
Joking about his new position, Meyers said, "My dream was ‘SNL’ so I’m one of those unfortunate people that now I’m just playing out the string, I’ve done my childhood dream, I’m just trying to find a job that has health insurance.”
