Report: Seth Meyers Perfect Replacement for Jimmy Fallon on “Late Night”
With continued buzz surrounding Jimmy Fallon's future in late night television, a new report suggests that a fellow “Saturday Night Live” cast member is diving into the mix.
According to The New York Post, Seth Meyers is slated to take Fallon’s place on “Late Night” if Jimmy replaces Jay Leno on “The Tonight Show” next year.
The rumor mill is buzzing with reports that the 38-year-old will take the chair during the 11:30 p.m. time slot, which leaves his spot open for the fourth time. Prior to Jimmy, David Letterman and Conan O’Brien hosted “Late Night.”
In addition to the Post’s article, “SNL” king Lorne Michaels is a producer on the NBC talk show and allegedly backs the decision to replace Fallon with Meyers.
