Stepping out to honor a musical legend, stars showed up for the Grammy Awards MusiCares Person of the Year celebration on Friday evening (February 8) in Los Angeles.
Among those showing their appreciation for the guest of honor, Bruce Springsteen, were songstress Katy Perry, who showed off her curves in a flowing orange frock, and John Legend who arrived with his girlfriend Chrissy Teigen.
Showcasing the star-studded cast, eight new character banners for the upcoming movie, "Gangster Squad" were unveiled by Warner Bros. Pictures.
In the Ruben Fleischer-directed film, Brooklyn-born mob king Mickey Cohen (Penn) runs the show in this town, reaping the ill-gotten gains from the drugs, the guns, the prostitutes and--if he has his way--every wire bet placed west of Chicago. And he does it all with the protection of not only his own paid goons, but also the police and the politicians who are under his control.
They’re both fairly outspoken regarding their political views, and Kid Rock and Sean Penn teamed up for a new short film titled “Americans” where they put aside their differences.
At the outset, Penn finds himself in a bar watching Rock perform at a Mitt Romney rally on television. And once he asks the bartender to change the channel to see President Barack Obama dancing with Ellen DeGeneres, Kid shows up to object.
