It’s a big week for Scarlett Johansson - not only is her new film “The Avengers” hitting theaters on Friday, but today (May 2) she received her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The “In Good Company” chick looked thrilled as she took to the podium at the ceremony located on Hollywood Boulevard while joined by her superhero co-star Jeremy Renner.

Earning more money than all of our nation’s biggest box-office hits combined this year, “The Avengers” staggered extremely impressive numbers with its international premieres.

Since its global debut in more than 30 countries on Wednesday, the action packed superhero film has earned an estimated $178.4 million - and, to top that off, it opened number one in every market.

Superhero fans have the opportunity to watch more of the anticipated film, “The Avengers,” thanks to a visit by Mark Ruffalo to The Graham Norton Show on Sunday (April 22).

In what's the seventh teaser released from the flick, the new footage features the 44-year-old actor's character, Bruce Banner, along with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow.
