Sara Ramirez Ties the Knot!
"Grey's Anatomy" star Sara Ramirez celebrated more than America's birthday on the 4th of July, as the actress' rep confirms she exchanged vows in New York on Wednesday (July 4).
Marking her first marriage, Sara exchanged nuptials with her long time boyfriend Ryan Debolt during what's described as an "intimate" ceremony that comes after the two were engaged for a little over a year.
In an email to the Hufington Post, the 36-year-old's rep confirmed, "On July 4th 2012, after a year-long engagement, Sara Ramirez and Ryan Debolt were married in an intimate ceremony in New York. The private event was attended by close family and friends".
Sara's fiancé popped the question while she and her man were in Paris last June - of which witnesses recalled, "Her boyfriend came next to her and kneeled," adding, "He opened a case, and we just heard her saying, 'Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God,' and seconds later, a really big 'Yes!'
