Russell Brand Supports Mental Health Charity Shop in Home Town
Showing off his caring heart under the raunchy comedic exterior, Russell Brand helped open a charity shop, "Mind" for the mentally ill in Grays, Essex, UK on Monday (October 21).
The ex-husband of Katy Perry wore a black blazer, ripped jeans, and a long striped scarf as he greeted the crowd and hammed it up with children.
Thurrock Mind is an organization created in 1980 to help develop services to support those in the community with mental health problems.
Sharing his plans with his Twitter followers, Russell tweeted, "On my way to my home town Grays to see my best to open a Mind Shop - better be a mental health charity not a brain shop."
