She’s definitely been through the wringer more than once (breast cancer and blood disease), but that hasn’t stopped Robin Roberts from having a positive outlook on her life.

The “Good Morning America” anchor underwent a bone marrow transplant last winter and ended up having to take multiple months off from her job to recover.

It’s been a long time coming, and Robin Roberts couldn’t have been more joyful as she reclaimed her anchor chair at “Good Morning America” today (February 20).

The much-beloved presenter, who had to take a leave of absence to deal with a bone marrow disorder, kicked off her comeback with some beautiful words, “Hi, it’s Robin and I’ve been waiting 174 days to say this… Good morning America!”

Following a successful bone marrow transplant last year, Robin Roberts is almost ready to resume her post at “Good Morning America.”

The vivacious anchor showed up at ABC Studios this morning (January 24) to make an off-camera appearance on her way to returning full-time.
