It looks like the new season of “American Idol” is heating up like never before. And though “Bikini Girl” Katrina Darrell has already made a splash, she already has some competition.

“AI” contestant Casey Carlson is the latest installment of bathing suit bliss - she’s a model for the Campus Girls website, and is sure to give miss Darrell a run for her money, at least in the hotness category.

Despite recent tensions, "American Idol" producer Ken Warwick says that Paula Abdul's job is safe, adding that she's an integral part of the hit show.

"There's never ever been any discussion that we would want to get rid of Paula, even if there were people in production that didn't like her," Warwick told press during a conference call.
