First Look at Nicole Kidman & Colin Firth in "The Railway Man"

Eager to show off one of the first films of 2014, a new trailer for "The Railway Man" hit the web on Wednesday (November 6).

The preview is the first look at the upcoming drama based on Eric Lomax's life as a prisoner of war in Singapore during World War II.

It’s powerful, it’s shocking, and it won raves at the Toronto International Film Festival. And now, the trailer for “The Railway Man” has just been released.

“War leaves a mark,” says Colin Firth to Nicole Kidman. He plays a man who’s been traumatized by his torture as a prisoner of war in Thailand during World War II. “I don’t believe in this code of silence that you have,” she responds to him.

The stars of “The Railway Man” made their way to Canada Friday (September 6) for the Toronto International Film Festival. Both Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth walked the red carpet for their film’s debut.

Hard at work on her newest film, Nicole Kidman was spotted on the Berwick, Scotland set for "The Railway Man" on Wednesday (May 16).

The beautiful Aussie looked elegant in a maroon cardigan, white collared button up and black skirt while laughing and chatting it up with other crew and cast members.

Getting down to business on their new film, Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth were spotted shooting scenes for “The Railway Man” in Perth, Scotland today (May 1).

The “Moulin Rouge” babe and the “Love Actually” hunk looked intense as they played their parts at the Perth Train Station while fans and shutterbugs looked on.
