"Pitch Perfect" Wows the 2013 MTV Movie Award Audience

Celebrating one of the biggest musical movies of the year, the cast of "Pitch Perfect" performed at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards this evening (April 14).

Joining with hitmakers Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow joined their castmates to perform a memorable musical medley.

MTV Announces 2013 Movie Award Nominees

Gearing up for next month's ceremony, MTV announced the nominations for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Tuesday (March 5).

Awards host Rebel Wilson and MTV News' Josh Horowitz started off the nomination spectacular by announcing the most coveted Golden Popcorn award for Movie of the Year.

Spearheading another solid weekend at movie theaters across the States, "Taken 2" is comfortable situated atop the box office to begin the weekend of October 5-7, 2012.

The Olivier Megaton directed crime drama starring Liam Neeson as a retired CIA operative scored a $18.5 million opening day followed by a $19 million day two while estimated to churn out a respectable weekend total of $50.0 million.
