Paz de la Huerta Charged with Assault
Following a dust-up with MTV's Samantha Swetra last month, Paz de la Huerta went before a New York City judge earlier today (April 19), where she faced an array of charges.
During the March 20th brawl, the "Boardwalk Empire" star allegedly punched and threw a glass at Swetra's face, bringing harm to her nose and mouth.
Paz has now been officially charged with third-degree assault, attempted assault, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon in that case.
The judge also issued de la Huerta an order of protection, and told her she is due back in court on May 19.
