Box Office: "Paranormal Activity 2" Ousts "Jackass 3D"

Making quite the splash on opening weekend, "Paranormal Activity 2" has shot atop the Hollywood box office for the weekend of October 22-24th.

The Tod Williams directed horror film starring Katie Featherston racked up $6.3 million in midnight sales on Friday which puts it on pace to earn $35 million over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Johnny Knoxville spearheaded "Jackass 3D" picture slipped from first to second, still looking at an impressive $24 million take in its second week of release.

Rounding out the top five are Bruce Willis' "Red" ($14.5 million), Matt Damon's "Hereafter" ($11 million) and the Facebook film "The Social Network" ($7 million).
