Natalie Portman Set to Produce and Star in "Jane Got a Gun"
The hard-working Natalie Portman has reportedly signed on to play the lead acting role in Lynne Ramsay’s newest film “Jane Got a Gun.”
After directing “We Need to Talk about Kevin,” the director is working on the Western flick, which is written by Brian Duffield and was part of the 2011 “Black List” of unproduced screen plays.
The plot-line is as follows: “After her outlaw husband returns home shot with eight bullets and barely alive, Jane reluctantly reaches out to an ex-lover who she hasn’t seen in over ten years to help her defend her farm when the time comes that her husband’s gang eventually tracks him down to finish the job.”
The 30-year-old actress who recently starred in “Thor” will also produce the film.
