Ashton Kutcher's ACM Controversy
After presenting the award for female vocalist of the year at the 2012 ACM Awards, Ashton Kutcher is now receiving some backlash for his choice of clothing and gestures.
The "Two and a Half Men" actor presented the award is his not so usual style, wearing a large black cowboy hat, bright red blazer, cowboy boots and a large belt buckle.
Before passing off the award to recipient, Miranda Lambert, Kutcher also gave a little of his own rendition of Geroge Strait's song, "I Cross My Heart,"
Though the outfit and gesture didn't seem like an immediate controversy, Miss Lambert later tweeted, "Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I'm kinda wondering?"
Fellow country star, Justin Moore, also didn't seem happy with the actor's presentation as he also took to his social media site, writing, "Seen Ashton kutcher at the acms tonight, what a douche! I don't care for people making a mockery of the way country artists dress."
Ashton however, defended himself on Tuesday (April 3) when he responded to Lambert, tweeting, "I Am One Of The biggest country Music fans you've ever met. Wasn't making fun at all."
