MTV Announces 2014 Awards Show Dates

After the Rebel Wilson-hosted spectacular in April, MTV is already gearing up for next year's awards season.

On Wednesday (May 8), it was announced that the MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, April 13th, with the long-running Video Music Awards taking place on Sunday, August 24th.

Though he's currently making a splash with his return to music, Justin Timberlake switches gears to combine acting and folk singing in the upcoming film, "Inside Llewyn Davis."

Set in the 1960s, the film follows a singer-songwriter navigating New York's folk music scene. JT and Carey Mulligan play husband and wife folk musicians in the Joel and Ethan Coen-directed drama.

Andrew Garfield to Star in Martin Scorsese's "Silence"

Nabbing a coveted role in the new Martin Scorsese flick, Andrew Garfield signed on to star in "Silence."

Based on the novel by Shusaku Endo, the story follows two 17th century Jesuit priests who face violence and persecution upon traveling to Japan to spread the gospel and find their mentor.
