Debbie Rowe's Custody Report Lawsuit
Debbie Rowe has sued a woman for slander on Thursday after it reported that she was giving up custody rights for her children with Michael Jackson in exchange for millions of dollars.
The lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, where Rowe reported that Rebecca White, committed slander, invasion of privacy and intention infliction of emotional distress.
White said she was a “close friend” of Rowe, but Rowe insists that she doesn’t know her. The suit also alleges that White created e-mails from Rowe that read she wouldn’t look good if she didn’t fight for custody of Prince, 12, and Paris, 11.
Rowe and White have never exchanged e-mails about Jackson nor his family. It is unclear for how much the lawsuit is asking for the damages.
