He's proudly announced that his cancer treatment was a success, and now Michael Douglas is itching to get back to the workplace.

The 66-year-old has revealed that he's been gearing himself up for the awards show circuit while also studying for his upcoming role as Liberace in the movie "Liberace".

Sounding as if he's on the mend, Michael Douglas has revealed that his tumor is officially gone.

Talking with Matt Lauer for a "Today" show interview airing Tuesday, the "Wall Street" actor said, "I feel good, relieved. The tumor is gone. But, you know, I have to check out on a monthly basis now to maintain."

Heading out to Pier 59 Studios for a photoshoot, Michael Douglas was spotted leaving his New York City apartment on Friday (December 3).

Walking along with his assistant, the “Wall Street” actor looked to be in good spirits carrying a water bottle and newspaper en route to Chelsea Piers.
