Michael Douglas' Son Gets 5 Years in Prison
Facing hefty consequences for him multiple misdoings, Michael Douglas' son Cameron has been dealt five years of lockup in prison.
The 31-year-old's "Wall Street" actor father was on-hand for the sentencing, looking quite upset over his son's dreary future as he was led past media members and over to an awaiting car.
The sentence results from drug charges after Cameron was arrested in August 2009 following a police raid on his room at a New York City hotel.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, he pleaded guilty to one count of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and one count of possession of heroin in January .
And while the 5-years will be long, it comes as a break seeing that the 31-year-old faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years behind bars for the crimes.
