Making her debut appearance on the long-running NBC comedy sketch show, Melissa McCarthy took over hosting duties on last night's (October 1) episode of "Saturday Night Live".

After kicking off with a version of “The Lawrence Welk Show," the "Bridesmaids" star stepped onstage to deliver an opening monologue in which she led into by saying that her kiddies needed to go to bed because “Mama’s about to get inappropriate.”
