She’s never one to miss out on a killer party, and earlier tonight (February 24) Melissa McCarthy stepped out at the 85th Academy Awards in Hollywood.

The “Bridesmaids” cutie was all smiles as she shuffled through the arrivals area, stopping to pose for the shutterbugs and greet fans along the way.

Putting on many hats for her pet project, Melissa McCarthy will direct and star in "Tammy" which she also co-wrote with her husband, Ben Falcone.

The raunchy comedy follows a woman who is laid off from her job at Hardee’s, discovers her husband is having an affair, and decides to go on a road trip with her alcoholic, foul-mouthed, diabetic grandmother.

With her new movie "Identity Thief" set to hit theaters February 8th, Melissa McCarthy scored herself a feature in the February 2013 issue of Michigan Avenue Magazine.

The 42-year-old "Bridesmaids" actress looked absolutely gorgeous for the front page shoot while dishing about everything from her childhood to her Emmy victory.
