Matthew McConaughey: Dwindling Daddy on Duty
Taking care of his parental responsibilities, Matthew McConaughey took his kids Levi and Vida to school in Austin, Texas today (October 15).
The “Lincoln Lawyer” hunk looked pretty thin despite trying to hide his skinny form beneath a sweatshirt and track pants teamed with an athletic headband.
Matthew has been losing 30 pounds for an upcoming role in “The Dallas Buyer’s Club,” a film about Ron Woodruff’s true story.
Woodruff was a drug addict in the 1980s that ended up getting HIV and became one of the first AIDS activists. Matthew explained, "I'm playing a guy who was sick and would have loved to have been healthier but wasn't. For me, it's more of a mental thing than a physical thing,"
Of the weight loss, McConaughey shared, "I'll get down to the weight I need to get to. I'm on my way, and it's what I need to do for the job."
