Set to honor the best in television and movies from the past year, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California is abuzz as red carpet arrivals for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards are almost underway.

Enjoying a star-studded celebration before the big night, Hollywood's finest headed to the Chateau Marmont for the Dom Perignon and W Magazine's celebration of The Golden Globes party on Friday (January 11).

Receiving praise for her Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy nomination was Jennifer Lawrence, who looked lovely in a short-sleeved blue dress and open-toed black heels.

Earlier today (January 10) the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their nominations for the 2013 Academy Awards, and though there were plenty of deserving recipients, other supposed shoo-ins ended up getting the shaft.
