Reese Witherspoon Discusses "Gone Girl" in THR's Authors with their Stars Series

Taking a minute to pose with acclaimed author Gillian Flynn, Reese Witherspoon scored herself a feature in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter.

The 36-year-old posed with Miss Flynn for the fashionable Pamela Littky shot spread while dishing about their new film “Gone Girl.”

Miss Witherspoon on Miss Flynn’s story telling ability:
"It's just an incredible feat that Gillian was able to accomplish. You really can't anticipate where it's going, but it's one of those books you can't stop reading. You really can't anticipate where it's going, but it's one of those books you can't stop reading.”
Miss Flynn on the characters in “Gone Girl”:
"My previous books featured people who were lonely and alienated. I wanted to go the opposite way and write about two people who knew each other so well and were in each other's heads all the time, for good and often bad."

The film is currently in the early stages and was recently acquired by Fox for $1.5 million.
