Lily Collins' First Day Of Filming "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones"

Working on the first few scenes of her brand new movie project, Lily Collins strolled around the Toronto, Canada set of "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" today (August 20).

Joined by a security guard, the "Mirror Mirror" star hid behind an umbrella and looked darling in frayed jean shorts and a loose long-sleeved top for the first official day of filming.

In the action/adventure flick, Lily plays Clary Fray, a teenage girl who searches to discover the truth about her family history after her mom is attacked and taken from their New York City home by a demon.

The 23-year-old actress is joined by Lena Headey in "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" which is expected to hit theaters on August 23, 2013.
