He’s had a roller coaster ride over the past few weeks due to some complications surrounding seizures, and Lil Wayne has finally clued everyone in to the cause of his ailment.
The “Mrs. Officer” rapper explained, "The bad news is I'm an epileptic. I'm prone to seizures. This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure.”
After visits from many of rap's hottest superstars, Lil Wayne has recovered to the point where he is now out of the Intensive Care Unit.
On Wednesday, Weezy was rushed to the hospital after suffering at least one violent seizure, possibly attributed to his use of codeine cough syrup drinks. He was put in the ICU and stayed there up until Monday (March 18).
His fans are concerned with his well-being as he recuperates from a series of seizures, and Lil Wayne's health issues could have him sidelined for awhile.
According to an MTV report, the “Mrs. Officer” rapper’s recent problems could be the result of several different factors.
After alarming reports about Lil Wayne's condition, a tweet from the rapper's own Twitter account assured fans that he was still alive on Friday (March 15).
At around 9:30pm ET, a tweet from @LilTunechi said, "I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.” It is unknown if it was personally tweeted by Weezy or if it was someone from his entourage.
During a music video shoot with Nicki Minaj on Tuesday (March 12), Lil Wayne suffered multiple seizures and was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.
According to reports, the "Lollipop" singer was released Wednesday morning (March 13) and showed signs of perfectly good health, though his rep has yet to comment to the press.
