Russell Crowe: First “Les Miserables” Look!

He’s one of the most prolific actors of his generation, and Russell Crowe looks positively magnificent in a new shot from the set of “Les Miserables.”

The “A Beautiful Mind” hunk is all dressed up in his Inspector Javert garb in the photo, mounted on a horse and quite intimidating.

“Les Miserables” is a big-screen adaptation of the classic French musical, directed by Tom Hooper.

Set in 19th-century France, it’s the enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption. Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen also star.
