Set to honor the best in television and movies from the past year, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California is abuzz as red carpet arrivals for the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards are almost underway.
Earlier today (January 10) the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their nominations for the 2013 Academy Awards, and though there were plenty of deserving recipients, other supposed shoo-ins ended up getting the shaft.

Awards show season is just around the corner, and earlier today (January 2) the Producers Guild of America announced the theatrical motion picture and television nominations for the 2013 Producers Guild Awards.
Set to take place on January 26th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the big event will honor the best and brightest in the industry, including Bob and Harvey Weinstein, J.J. Abrams and Russell Simmons.

The posters feature Leonardo DiCaprio's Jay Gatsby and Carey Mulligan's Daisy Buchanan, while the trailer shows a brief synopsis of Gatsby's life - past and present - and all the excitement and drama that goes with it.
