Leonardo DiCaprio’s Space Trip Nabs $1.5 Million for amfAR
It’s always a highlight of the Cannes Film Festival, and last night’s amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Charity Auction featured a trip to outer space with Leonardo DiCaprio.
According to a report, the “Catch Me If You Can” star offered his companion seat to the highest bidder, scoring a top offer of $1.5 million.
Meanwhile, Sharon Stone also put two seats on the Virgin Galactic on the block, bringing in $2.3 million from the folks gathered at the Hotel du Cap-Eden Roc.
The lucky winners will spend three days with Leo in a training program before hopping in one of Sir Richard Branson’s new space crafts and heading out into space!
