Lea Michele Visits “Jimmy Kimmel Live”
The “Glee” starlet looked amazing and shared some stories of her childhood before hitting the Broadway scene at age 8.
Lea began, “Growing up, I was born in the Bronx so my dad owned a deli. An Italian deli. He’s not Italian, he’s Jewish. But he pretended well. He still does to this day. People think he’s Italian but he’s not.”
“I would get up early in the morning and I would go with him and I would sweep the floors and help him with the cold cuts and stuff like that. I loved it. I love to cook.”
Michele also added that there was a bit of shadiness when it came to the name of the store- “It was called ‘Sal’s House of Good Food.’ His name is not Sal, it’s Mark.”
