Lea Michele Drops Full “Cannonball” Track: Listen Here!
It’s been a beautiful and broken year for Lea Michele, and her brand new song “Cannonball” is a beacon of hope for anyone who is struggling.
Following the sudden death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith, the “Glee” songstress let her emotions flow into her forthcoming album Louder, with amazing results.
On “Cannonball,” Lea sings, "Break down/ Break down/ Break down/ I was scared to death, I was losing my mind. But now/ I think I found the light at the end of the tunnel."
"And now I will start living/ Today, today, today/ I close the door/ I got this new beginning/ And I will fly/ I'll fly like a cannonball."
Louder also contains a song called “You’re Mine” that Michele wrote during her relationship with Monteith. "The album was done, and the label said, 'Do you want to add anything?' I was like, 'I might regret it if I don't.’ It makes me so happy, this song. It makes me think so much of Cory. It was ours. When I think of him, I play this."
