Ryan Gosling Skips Cannes Film Festival

He’s fiercely dedicated to his craft, and Ryan Gosling ended up missing the premiere of his new flick “Only God Forgives” at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in favor of a new project.

The “Lars and the Real Girl” guy apologized for his absence in a letter to Cannes director Thierry Fremaux, who was understandably disappointed at the news.

They’re both big fans of philanthropy and Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Aniston joined forces to send some encouragement to the folks affected by the tornado disaster in Oklahoma City.

During the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Ellen declared, "I take all that love and today I give it to everybody in Oklahoma.”
