Seth Meyers Named New Host of "Late Night"

With all the switching around on the late night shows on NBC, another piece has fallen in to place, as the network announced on Sunday (May 12) that Seth Meyers will replace Jimmy Fallon as the host of “Late Night.”

Previously, Fallon was tapped to take Jay Leno's spot on the “Tonight Show” sometime next year, leaving his position open.

In the wake of her recent arrest, Reese Witherspoon has cancelled her upcoming appearance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

The 37-year-old was slated to appear on the talk show on Tuesday (April 23), according to "Late Night's" website, and will now be replaced by Adam Ferrara.
