Taking a break from the recording studio, Lana Del Rey stepped out in Santa Monica on Monday (January 28).

Comfortably casual in jeans and a black zippered polo shirt, the “Blue Velvet” songstress chatted up a pal as she relaxed before heading back to work.

With more music in the works, the 26-year-old’s first album celebrated its one-year anniversary this week.

Born to Die has sold over three million copies since January 2012.
