Lady Gaga Teases First Single’s Title with “Applause”
We already know that Lady Gaga's first single from ARTPOP is expected to hit the airwaves next month, and now we’re one step closer to learning its title.
The 27-year-old pop star’s makeup artist Tara Savelo shared a photo of the star on her Little Monsters site, possibly displaying the track’s artwork.
Listed across the top of the easel was the word “APPLAUSE,” and a caption reading “26 days” matching up with the August 19th date Gaga already teased.
In another cryptic post, this time from the singer herself, the Mother Monster shared a snapshot of doodles with the words, "If only fame had an IV/ Baby could I bear/ Being away from you/ I found the vein, put it in here."
The photo’s caption reads, "Documented this album/app ARTPOP project in a series of notes and books, with visual ideas and sketches throughout. I take this book everywhere."
ARTPOP is slated to release on November 11, but will available for pre-order on September 1.
