They’re both fairly outspoken regarding their political views, and Kid Rock and Sean Penn teamed up for a new short film titled “Americans” where they put aside their differences.
At the outset, Penn finds himself in a bar watching Rock perform at a Mitt Romney rally on television. And once he asks the bartender to change the channel to see President Barack Obama dancing with Ellen DeGeneres, Kid shows up to object.
He was called onstage to receive an award at an NAACP event in Detroit, MI last night (May 1), but Kid Rock ended up offending some of the audience members.
During an incident in which protesters are calling unacceptable, the “Cowboy” singer took the stage and said, “I love America. I love Detroit, and I love black people,” while using the Confederate Flag as a prop.
