Though she deleted the "forced to" tweet from her Twitter account, she posted a message on her official site after properly thinking through a response.

After suffering a significant drop in air time, Ke$ha has emerged to address the controversy surrounding the lyrics to her hit song, "Die Young" in the aftermath of the Connecticut elementary school shooting.

On Tuesday, the 25-year-old singer tweeted, " I'm so so so sorry for anyone who has been effected by this tragedy. and I understand why my song is now inappropriate. words cannot express."
